Naturally sweet, perfectly ripe and uniquely stalkless – Jerte Picota Cherries PDO are here, after a whole year of preparation!
Only grown in the Jerte Valley of Spain, west of Madrid, under the quality controls of the PDO, they are completely natural, never artificially cultivated or preserved – so taste and quality is never compromised. They are so perfectly ripe when picked that they come away easily from the tree, leaving the stalks behind on the branches. Each cherry is hand harvested by local farmers in a small community, and collected in traditional Chestnut Wood baskets, just as they have been for centuries!
Now available in Morrisons and Iceland, make sure you don’t miss out! If you’ve never tried one before, Morrisons will be holding sampling sessions across a selection of stores in the UK on Thursday 2nd July.
